(Joplin, MO) – The Dream Big Little One, Foundation accepts gently used mattresses, box springs, bed frames, and other comfort items. With a commitment to connect these donations to children in Missouri and Kansas, Dream Big Little One receives recommendations from area case workers, school counselors, and other, local public service men and women. Those recommendations connect Dream Big Little One to children who may be sleeping on a couch, the floor, or crowded in with other siblings. Due to the unsanitary conditions of some used mattresses and pillows, Dream Big Little One is not able to accept all used donations.
Dream Big Little One, Foundation has accepted a $1,590 sponsorship from Crossland Construction Company to provide new mattresses, pillows, and linens to children in Missouri and Kansas. Dream Big Little One seeks to maximize a child’s self-esteem while creating a safe, clean sleeping space for community children in need. They strive to support the emotional development of children to feel respected, valued, respected, and to be able to dream big!
