(Batesville, AR) – First Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Olivia Thouvenell to assistant vice president, branch manager and lender at its Joplin banking center in Missouri.
In her expanded role, Thouvenell will oversee daily branch operations, provide leadership to the local banking team and continue developing lending relationships while delivering personalized financial solutions to individuals and businesses throughout the Joplin area.
Thouvenell brings more than 20 years of banking experience to her new position, including extensive knowledge of consumer lending, customer relationship management and community banking. Since joining First Community Bank in April 2023, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving customers and building lasting relationships throughout southwest Missouri.

Thouvenell has been active in the southwest Missouri community, previously volunteering with Building Bridges, a community leadership development program, and volunteering with The Schroeder Family Expoloreum which is the Joplin Children’s STEAM Museum. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling. She and her husband, Jeremy, have one son, Titan.
