The Independent Living Center Announces Happy Walls Art Exhibit at Spiva Center for the Arts on November 19

The Independent Living Center (TILC) is pleased to announce Happy Walls, a special art exhibit featuring selected works by TILC consumers. The opening ceremony will take place Thursday, November 19, at 5:00 pm at Spiva Center for the Arts in Joplin. The exhibit is open to the public, and community members are invited to attend.

Through a partnership with Spiva Center for the Arts, TILC offers a First Friday Art Class where consumers can explore their creativity and experiment with different mediums. Throughout the year, participants create a variety of artwork, each reflecting their own personal interests. Happy Walls gives consumers the opportunity to share their work with the community, celebrate their accomplishments, and let others experience the results of their artistic efforts.

The Independent Living Center is grateful for its partnership with Spiva Center for the Arts and the opportunity to make these experiences accessible to the people it serves.

Community members are encouraged to attend the opening ceremony, view the artwork, and show their support for the local artists featured in Happy Walls.
