AMI Radio & Marketing Group has been presented with an Aspire Award by Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) for providing support to CBCO’s mission.
CBCO is the exclusive provider of blood and blood products to over 40 hospitals in a 40-county area comprising southwest Missouri, northeast Arkansas, and southeast Kansas. More than 50,000 donations of blood are required each year to meet their transfusion demands.
In addition to promoting CBCO’s Bleed Red blood drive promotion each summer, AMI regularly conducts on-air interviews with CBCO staff, airs public service announcements, and posts on social media outlets to help spread the word when there’s an urgent need for donations.
