Academics

  • The spring semester has already begun, but you can still enroll in a second eight-week course between now and March 20. Enroll today!
  • Spring break is March 13 through 19. Crowder College offices will be closed during this time.
  • Scholarship applications are open for Fall 2023. Apply today!
  • Graduation, Transfer and Career Services have planned visits to several transfer universities. These are free visits and transportation is provided. Please contact Jeff Elwood or call 417.455.5618 if you want to attend any of the following:
    • Missouri University of Science and Technology – Thursday, March 2, 2023 @ 5:30 am to 7:00 pm
    • Missouri Southern State University – Friday, March 10, 2023 @ 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

Campus Life

  • The Central Ozark Conference High School Art exhibit is on display in the Longwell Museum from March 6 to March 30, when a closing reception will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The show includes artwork from students in the Carl Junction, Carthage, Joplin, Neosho, and Webb City school districts. The Museum is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends and holidays.
  • Lee Library is seeking donations of used books for its annual book sale. For more information, please click here.
  • The next lecture in the Civil War Symposium is set for March 9, 2023 at 6:00 pm. Join Dr. Chris Huggard of the NWACC in the Wright Conference Center as he speaks on the Pea Ridge Civil War battle.
  • Crowder College’s Theatre Department presents The Many Disguises of Robin Hood on March 25 at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Keep watching for more information as well as where to purchase tickets.

Athletics

  • Women’s Basketball is now 12 to 18 on the season. They will host Jeff Co in the first round of Region 16 on Thursday, March 2 at 7:00 pm. Follow them on their livestream.
  • Softball is now 11 to three for the season. Their next home game is Tuesday, March 7 at 1:00 pm.
  • Baseball is now 11 to four on the season. They will play at home on March 4 at 1:00 pm.
  • Men’s and Women’s Golf will kick off their spring season in March. Stay tuned for details!
  • Crowder’s e-Sports is competing in League of Legends on Saturdays at 2:00 pm. Warzone team plays on Wednesday nights at 5:30 pm. For more information, please email JesseSkaggs@Crowder.edu.
