The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will be hosting “More Than Child’s Play,” a free virtual seminar on leading joyful, purposeful physical activity with young children.
Dr. Diane H. Craft, P.h.D., the author of Active Play! Fun Physical Activities for Young Children, is a renowned national expert in early childhood physical activity and will be presenting on the following topics:
- The benefits of physical activity on child development.
- Fun, easy-to-lead physical activities.
- Physical activity resources
The presentation will take place on Saturday, March 6 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. There is no cost to attend, but interested participants must register here.
Missouri child care providers can earn 2.00 clock hours from this seminar.
