(Joplin, MO) – Since its opening in 1997, Children’s Center of Southwest Missouri has served more than 19,000 victims of child abuse. Although the world seemed to stop in 2020, child abuse did not. The Center’s mission of supporting vulnerable children continues.
This year, Children’s Center is hosting a virtual auction rather than the traditional Gala. Thankfully, local businesses and individual donors have renewed their financial support by making 2021 contributions. Children’s Center is seeking additional community support. You can give a gift or purchase items from the virtual auction. Donations over $100 are eligible for up to a 50% Champions of Children tax credit.
The virtual auction begins Thursday, February 25 and runs until Sunday, February 28 at childrens-center.org/auction/.
