(Joplin, MO) – The Creative Learning Alliance (CLA) will give an update on the Schroeder Family Exploreum building on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 9:00 am at 300 S. Main Street.
In conjunction with the building update, CLA is pleased to announce a capital fundraising match. “Our capital campaign is instrumental to turning the idea of a science center into reality and we are excited to announce a fundraising match,” said Neely Myers, Executive Director of the Creative Learning Alliance.
The science center will feature interactive space that will bring learning to life. Children and adults of all ages will be able to satisfy their curiosity and discover new things through hands-on activities and exhibits. CLA embraces donors and sponsors whose passion is education, learning, curiosity, and discovery and who want to give back to the community.
Board President Audie Dennis said, “We are excited to share with the public our progress toward moving the science center from a vision to reality and to make potential donors aware of a limited opportunity to have their gifts matched dollar for dollar.”
