The 2023 Polar Plunge is coming back to Joplin! The Plunge will be hosted at Rivers Bend Family Resort on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in Shoal Creek.
This “unbearable” event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you support local Special Olympics athletes by plunging into the frigid winter waters. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO). SOMO exists to provide year-round sports and training opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities and our athletes need you to get involved.
Organizers for the Polar Plunge are currently seeking sponsorships for the event as well as participants who are willing to brave the cold and take the plunge! Find out more about sponsorships or learn how to register here.
