Creative Learning Alliance Newsletter for February 2023

Picking Up STEAM

The Creative Learning Alliance’s inaugural Lego Robotics Camp was a tremendous success in December. Fourteen area children ages eight to 12 spent two afternoons of their Christmas break learning about simple machines, robotics, and just straight-up having a fun time doing it! We can’t wait to offer more camp-style programming as we grow.

And speaking of Legos, we are endlessly impressed with our Landmark Builds teams and their visions of the Olivia Apartments and Joplin Depot. Both groups had an opportunity to tour the location of their build and ask questions of local experts on their landmark. These kids are impressive! Their comments and questions gave them such a cool perspective for their creations. Follow their progress on Facebook, @LandmarkBuilds.
