(Joplin, MO) – NALA Adult Literacy is pleased to announce their third annual Literacy Liftoff on September 15, 2023, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm!
This free event will be held on the Missouri Southern State University soccer fields located on the south side of campus. NALA invites the community to come and enjoy an evening of fun, games, and relax while learning about the literacy-related resources that NALA has to offer. This event features tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting), which are offered for a suggested donation of $5 each. There will also be food trucks, games, music, and opportunities to win raffle baskets to add to the fun! More than 15 partner agencies will also be on site with information about their programs and services.
Join in on the activities and learn a little about NALA while having lots of fun!
