(Joplin, MO) – The MOKAN Partnership is pleased to announce that Amy Kauffman has been named Business Development Coordinator.
Kauffman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Education in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri. Since 2010 she has served in various capacities across the Joplin and Pittsburg area, working most recently as a Career Advisor at Southeast KANSASWORKS, Inc in Pittsburg and as a Financial Aid Administrator for Wichita Technical Institute’s campus in Joplin.
“We’re excited to have Amy join the MOKAN team,” says Tony Robyn, Director of the Partnership. “She is bringing fundamental experience and business perspective to this position while fulfilling a much-needed role in our marketing and outreach, workforce development, and relationship building and project management efforts.”
Kauffman’s first day with the Partnership was April 26, 2021. As Business Development Coordinator, she will work with regional business leaders to advance economic development, community growth, and regional partnerships throughout the seven-county tri-state region of Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
