Freeman Health System is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Musick, D.O., as Market Chief Medical Officer, Arkansas market, effective June 14.
Dr. Musick brings nearly two decades of clinical experience to the role, most recently serving as a staff physician with Northwest Physicians in Springdale since 2008. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient-centered care, with an emphasis on preventive medicine and the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
In addition to his primary care background, Dr. Musick has extensive experience in emergency medicine, having served as an emergency room physician at Northwest Medical Hospital in Bentonville for more than a decade. His diverse clinical expertise supports a well-rounded approach to quality, safety, and care delivery across the Arkansas market.
Dr. Musick earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University and completed his residency in family medicine in Tulsa. He is an active member of the American College of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional excellence.
In this role, Dr. Musick will provide physician leadership and clinical oversight as Freeman continues to strengthen and integrate services throughout the Arkansas region.
