Join Watered Gardens Ministries for the 2026 Bowl-a-Thon on Sunday, June 14, hosted at Skinner Studios (19099 Aspen Road in Diamond, MO)!
Regional clay artists will have a marathon bowl throwing event form 1:00 to 5:00 pm and guests are invited to watch as potters wedge the clay, throw approximately two pounds of clay onto the wheel and shape it into a beautifully handcrafted bowl, then leather dry and trim the bowls before the first bisque firing!
All the bowls will be used in an Empty Bowls Fundraiser benefitting Hope Kitchen in Neosho and Watered Gardens Ministries in Joplin.
Light refreshments will be available and the gallery is open for public purchases. This event is free and open to the public.
This event would not be possible without generous sponsors, including:
- Mercy of Joplin
- Southwest Missouri Bank
- Seward’s Insulatio
- Binky Guy Textiles
- Jordan CPA Services
- Missouri Eye Institute,
- Joplin Greenhouse & Coffee Shop
- Suzanne’s Natural Foods.
