(Joplin, MO) – Downtown Joplin Alliance (DJA) will hold their next quarterly Downtown Now event on Wednesday, March 8 at 5:00 pm. Downtown Now is for downtown business owners, residents, or just lovers of downtown to connect and learn more about what’s happening in the district.
This upcoming session will be held in the beautifully restored lobby of the Frisco Station Lofts at 601 S. Main Street. The program will feature a presentation from Jeff Neal, of Neal Group Construction, LLC, discussing the progress on the Olivia Apartments renovation and how such projects impact the overall health of the commercial corridor.
In addition to this presentation, participants can also expect a video from Blue Haven Homes, highlighting their numerous downtown restoration projects, a synopsis of the Downtown Survey results from the DJA board president, Chad Brueckner, and the announcement of an exciting new downtown event.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided in the lobby prior to the presentations.
Ivy Hagedorn, Programming & Marketing Director at DJA, states, “We have so many exciting things happening in our downtown district, and we know it can be hard to keep up with it all. Downtown Now is a great opportunity for the community to come together, see a beautiful downtown space, and hear first-hand from some folks who are transforming the neighborhood.”
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the Frisco Station Lofts (601 S. Main Street). Downtown Now is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required.
