A world-famous event is coming right here to Joplin!
Joplin Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that on August 14 and 15, MOmentum Bike Park will host the Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships USA Qualifier.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience a global event in our community. And the best part? No professional status is required to race. Whether you’re an elite rider looking to qualify for the World Championships or a casual rider looking for a fun challenge, there is a category for you.
Event Details & Divisions
- Elite Race (17+): World Championships Qualifier
- Adult Age Group Races: Open to all skill levels
- Youth Races (16 and under) : Categories are broken down into two-year age groups (male and female, placing three deep as long as there are four riders in the bracket.) If your child can make a single lap around the track on their bike, they are ready to enter!
All participants will receive a high-quality event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a racer goodie bag.
Free Youth Entries Available
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Glidewell Roofing, Ozark Adworks, the Sorrick Family, and the Twarog Family, there are a limited number of free youth entries (ages 16 and under) available.

Spectators Welcome!
Not planning to ride? Come out and cheer on the racers instead! Spectators are highly encouraged to come and enjoy the atmosphere as they witness some incredible racing.
