Economic Security Corporation of the Southwest Area (ESC) is proud to announce the one-year anniversary of their Community Action Ride System (CARS) program!
Since its inception, the CARS program has grown from just five volunteer drivers to 30, completing more than 210,000 miles and serving 578 destinations across four counties. To commemorate this milestone, they will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Joplin, Neosho, Carthage, Webb City, and Barton County Chambers of Commerce.
Join ESC on Thursday, May 1 at 1:00 pm at their central office, which is located at 302 Joplin Avenue. Several of their volunteer CARS drivers will be present to help celebrate this achievement and the community is invited to join in recognizing the hard work and dedication of the volunteers who make an impact in the CARS program.
