The parade begins at 10:00 am at 7th Street & Main and moves north to 2nd Street, turning west, and continuing onto Joplin Avenue. It then heads south to the City Hall parking lots between 5th and 7th Streets. We invite everyone to come downtown for this event and support MSSU.

On Wednesday, October 9, Main Street will be closed at 5:30 pm for Joplin High School’s (JHS) Homecoming Parade. Main Street will reopen at the conclusion of the parade.

The parade begins at 6:30 pm at 7th Street & Main and ends at 2nd Street. We invite everyone to come downtown for this event and support JHS.

Travelers are encouraged to be extra cautious during these events. If needing to cross Main Street, drivers should plan spare travel time to reach the south or north ends during these times.
