Volunteer Opportunities

The Red Cross is always seeking volunteers!

You can help your neighbor in their greatest time of need. Every day, people are force from their homes due to disasters. Single- and multi-family fires account for 90% of disaster responses. Compassionate and committed Disaster Action Team volunteers respond day and night to meet the immediate needs of their neighbors. Assistance given may include financial assistance for food, clothing and lodging, emotional support, prescription medication, and other critically needed items.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to turn your compassion into action, join the Red Cross’s Disaster Action Team here.

For questions, please feel free to contact your local Volunteer Recruiter, Margaret Raynolds, at margaret.raynolds@redcross.org or at 816.826.8392.
