Connect2Culture Seeking Volunteers for Future Events

Connect2Culture (C2C) is looking for volunteers to help out at their upcoming performances. The jobs are easy, fun, and don’t require too much time. Also, all volunteers get special, discounted ticket perks for their service!

Here are just a few of the positions that you could help with:

  • Ticket Scanner: Scan tickets using a ticket scanner and admit patrons to the performance.
  • Usher: Remain stationed by assigned entrance and use seating charts to help patrons/sponsors find their seats and distribute season programs.
  • Concessions (must be 21+): Take and fill beverage and snack orders for patrons.
  • Door Greeter: Open entrance doors for patrons and greet them with a friendly smile.
  • Float/Wayfinding: Fill in areas where helps is shorthand. Assist patrons with finding restrooms, concessions, coat check, the galleries, etc.

Connect2Culture (C2C) is a not-for-profit arts organization founded in 2009 to enhance community through culture. Unlike any organization in the Joplin area, C2C is a respected community arts agency, a champion of the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex, and a performing arts presenter. C2C strives to expand audience and resources needed to “ignite a passion for the arts, culture, and entertainment” in the Joplin area.
