Moss-DeGraff Buildings Actively Seeking Tenants

(Joplin, MO) – The Moss-DeGraff Buildings, the future home of Guru Marketing, are coming, and they are actively seeking tenants!

The proposed project will be located on the ninth block of Main Street in Joplin, taking up the addresses of 906 Main Street, 912 Main Street, and 914 Main Street.

The property was originally home to the Rains Brothers Building, which was constructed in 1902 and housed the Miner’s Hardware Company, which was located at 906 to 908 Main Street, as well as the Roosevelt Hotel. The commercial building was a three-story, three bay, two-part commercial building with a Renaissance Revival style detailing. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 but was destroyed in a fire on March 1, 2012.

With the new construction of the new Moss-DeGraff Buildings, there will be a large courtyard between the two buildings, as well as commercial and resident spaces for tenants. Possible options for a tenant can include, but are not limited to:

  • New commercial spaces for working tenants. The increase in client traffic will bring lots of new and exciting professional energy to downtown, as well as contribute to the job market.
  • New residential lofts/apartments. These spaces will help increase traffic for downtown businesses, including restaurants, bars, and shops. This will benefit everyone who works, lives, and travels to downtown Joplin!

The buildings’ designs have already been approved by the City of Joplin. If you’re interested in either commercial or residential space, please click here.
