The Scottish Rite, Valley of Joplin will host Joplin RiteCare 2022, a fundraiser for the Rite’s charity division, on Saturday August 27 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral (505 S. Byers). All proceeds from the event will go to help children with speech and language challenges by providing funds for hearing aids, therapy, clinical equipment, and other needs.
The event will feature a BBQ dinner provided by an accomplished grill master, a silent auction, a live auction, and live entertainment. The schedule of events is as follows:
- 5:00 pm: Cocktails; silent auction opens
- 6:00 pm: Dinner
- 6:45 pm: RiteCare presentation
- 7:00 pm: Live auction
- 8:00 pm: Silent auction closes
- 8:15 pm: Check-out opens
