(Neosho, MO) – Stay up to date on news from Crowder College and know what’s happening on and off campus!

Academics

  • Enrollment is open for summer and fall classes! See the full schedule on My Crowder and click the Academics link. Be sure to share the hashtag #IEnrolledCrowder2022 to win prizes once you have enrolled.
  • Commencement is right around the corner! Rehearsals will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 12. Meet in the Farber lobby. Ceremonies will take place as follows:
    • May 13, 7:00 pm – Nursing students (McDonald County and Nevada)
    • May 14, 10:00 am and 1:00 pm (respectively) – General Studies and Agricultural & Veterinary Technology
    • May 14, 1:00 pm – All other degrees on Neosho campus in the Bob Sneller Gymnasium
  • Technical Education Student signing day will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 11:000 am in the Wright Conference Center. Area high school students currently attending CTEC who are planning to attend Crowder College will be honored, as well as students who have received jobs due to their high school technical program training and military enlistees.

Campus Events & Community Education (Neosho location unless otherwise noted)

  • The Crowder Theatre department presents The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) directed by Elizabeth Armstrong. The show will run from April 28 to April 30 at 7:30 pm nightly plus a 2:00 pm matinee on Saturday. Tickets are available here.
  • The Crowder College Student Art Exhibit will be in the Longwell Museum from April 11 to May 14. The closing reception will be held April 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Awards will be announced at 6:00 pm. Museum hours: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Closed weekends and holidays.
  • Summer Theatre auditions for Annie Jr. will be held on May 2 and 3 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Elsie Plaster Community Center, room 124. Actors should prepare a one-minute monologue and song of choice. Auditions are open to the community. For more information, please call 417.455.5458.
  • Fine Arts week will run from April 25 to April 30. The week will feature lots of theatre, music, 3D art, and speech and debate. Find out more here.
  • A blood drive will be held in the Student Center on May 3 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Athletics

  • Crowder Baseball is 40-8 on the season. The fifth-ranked NJCAA Division I team will play at home on Tuesday, April 19 at 6:00 pm; Friday, April 22 at 6:00 pm; and Saturday, April 23 at 6:00 pm. Stay up to date with their schedule here.
  • Crowder Softball is 37-7 on the season. The twentieth-ranked NJCAA Division I team will play at home on Saturday, April 23. Stay up to date with their schedule here.
  • Crowder College’s Men’s Soccer will hold an ID camp on May 2 at 10:00 am. The camp is open for boys who will graduate in 2022, 2023, and 2024. The cost is $55. For more information, please click here.
