Wildcat Glades Friends Group Releases March 2022 Program List

(Joplin, MO) – This March, the Wildcat Glades Friends Group, along with other partners, will be hosting a hands-on preschool connections program, kids and adult yoga, and a spring break event.

Yoga in Nature for Adults

March 12 | 8:30 to 9:30 am | For ages 16+ | $10 to attend | Wildcat Glades Education Cottage

Led by Amanda, a registered yoga teacher, this class is designed to incorporate elements of nature, breathing, and yoga poses. Bring your yoga mat or a towel and a reusable water bottle. This is a great opportunity to help those who might be experiencing a little angst from being cooped up during these winter months.

Crazy Critters on Spring Break!

March 18, 10:00 am | March 21, 10:00 am | Free class sponsored Corley Trust | Wildcat Glades Education Cottage

Join the Wildcat Glades Friends Group and the Dickerson Park Zoo to learn about some crazy critters. You will get to meet and learn about some animals that have never adventured to our park before.

Underground, Living Logs

March 23, 10:00 to 11:00 am | March 26, 1:00 to 2:00 pm | Preschool Connections | Free class sponsored by Calvin Cassady | Wildcat Glades Pavilion 

Under the ground there is a whole other world! Lots of insects, plants, and even larger animals depend on what goes on underground or inside a tree that has fallen. Join us for a story, craft, and, if the weather is nice, a short hike.
