The City of Joplin is partnering with Region M Waste Management to offer the community a free document destruction and paper shredding event! This is your chance to shred any unwanted documents that contain personal information.
This event will be held at the Joplin Recycling Center, located 1310 West A Street, on November 20 at 8:00 to 10:00 am. For those interested, there are a few items to be aware of:
- Staples and paperclips do not need to be removed before shredding.
- All paper must be dry; no wet paper, please.
- Document destruction and recycling services will be provided by Midwest Fibre Sales.
All paper that is shredded at the event will be recycled afterwards.
