(Neosho, MO) – Stay up to date on news from Crowder College and know what’s happening on and off campus!

Academics

  • Enrollment for second 8-week classes is still available. To learn more, click here.
  • Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Induction will be held on September 21 at 3:30 pm to honor inductees for their academic achievement. PTK members must earn a 3.5 GPA or higher as a full-time student.

Campus Events & Community Education (Neosho location unless otherwise noted)

  • The Longwell Museum will be hosting its Vault Exhibit from September 1 to October 20 inside the Elsie Plaster Community Center with an opening reception to be held on September 9 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Museum hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm. The Museum is closed on weekends and holidays.
  • Crowder is hosting Mindful Mondays throughout the month of September. This is a place to ask questions in a no-pressure setting. Meet with our counselors and learn helpful tips for managing stress as well as information on the available free services. Snacks will be provided. For details, call 417.455.5609. Topics to be covered and the meeting locations are listed below:
    • Monday, September 13 – Wellness. Hosted in the Fireside Room from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
    • Monday, September 20 – Anxiety. Hosted in the Roughrider Village behind buildings E/F from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
    • Monday, September 27 – Relaxation. Hosted in the Brown Housing Gazebo from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
  • The International Club will host game nights on Thursdays at 6:00 pm in the Student Center. Find out more here.

Athletics

  • Roughrider Men’s Soccer is now 2-4 for the season. They will play at home on October 5 at 5:00 pm against NEO. See the complete schedule here.
  • eSports Day Camp will be held on October 16 for ages 7 to 11 and 12 years or older. Register by October 15 and learn more here!

Foundation Events

  • The annual Scholarship Banquet will be held on October 4 and 5. Stay tuned for more details and watch for your invitation!
  • 19th Annual Festival of Wreaths will be held on Tuesday, November 9. This is Crowder’s single, largest fundraiser for scholarship. Details will be coming soon!
