Joplin Chamber Board of Directors Votes to Endorse Proposition Renewal

Businesses for a Better Joplin Political Action Committee Activated

On August 3, Joplin voters will be asked whether they support the renewal of the 1/4 cent Parks and Stormwater Sales Tax (Proposition Renewal).

The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce (JACC) Board of Directors voted to ENDORSE Proposition Renewal. Proposition Renewal is a plan for a better Joplin. A VOTE YES means investments in our parks, trails, and stormwater will be made over the next 10 years. Again, this is a renewal of the existing 1/4 cent sales tax.

We are asking supporters to make a donation to Businesses For A Better Joplin, the JACC Political Action Committee, to fund a VOTE YES campaign. You can donate online using this PayPal link or by mailing a check to: Businesses For A Better Joplin, 320 E. 4th Street, Joplin, MO 64801.
