Express Rx Adds Walk-In Clinic, Specialty Compounding Services in Webb City

Leads Industry with Advanced Pharmacy Model

(Webb City, MO) Express Rx is leading the industry by rolling out a new, advanced pharmacy model at its Webb City store. In partnership with Advance Family Medicine & Wellness Center, the location now features two on-site medical specialists, a convenient walk-in clinic, and compounding laboratory.

“Customers are understandably concerned about potential exposure to COVID-19, particularly as we enter the winter months,” said Galen Perkins, CEO of Express Rx. “These new offerings will allow them to receive the customized health care services they need — all in a clean, safe and accessible environment.”

Physicians assistants are available Monday-Friday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Webb City store, located at 501 South Madison Avenue, Suite S, to treat chronic illnesses, provide acute care and address urgent injuries. No x-rays will be offered on-site. In addition to walk-in appointments, customers can contact 417.781.0250 to schedule a visit.

With its new compounding service, Express Rx is one of Missouri’s few pharmacies that offers patient-specific medications. Available prescriptions include hormone replacement; creams and ointments for dermatological needs or cancer radiation burns; feeding-related medications for autistic children; specialty drugs for pets; and more. Patients are encouraged to complete their initial paperwork at the Webb City location. Once an account is set up, free delivery is available up to a 20-mile radius from Express Rx’s Carthage, Joplin and Webb City stores.
