(Joplin, MO) – Business Facilities annually rates the country’s top sites of innovation and business. In their 17th Annual Rankings Report, Joplin, Missouri was ranked among the best business climates.
Among the nation’s smaller metropolitan areas, Joplin was number eight in the Best Business Climate rankings for populations under 200,000. With a growing focus on innovation and business, Joplin’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is expanding rapidly.
“Our cost of living is 21% below the national average,” says Erin Slifka, Marketing and Public Information Manager at the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce. “Leveraging this with our infrastructure and our work ethic makes our community appealing to companies from all around the world.”
