Two-thirds of Americans have at least one major risk factor for dementia. Fortunately, the Alzheimer’s Association is at a turning point in understanding brain health and the science-backed actions we can take to protect it.

Join the Joplin Family YMCA and the Alzheimer’s Association at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 29 for a 30-minute presentation exploring the latest research and how building brain-healthy habits can help you live well now while supporting your memory and thinking for the future.

This is a free community event and is open to the public.

The Alzheimer’s Association will present the program onsite at the Joplin Family YMCA (3404 McIntosh Circle Drive in Joplin). Afterwards, an announcement will be made in conjunction about a new group fitness class targeting those with Alzheimer’s.
