Joplin Schools‘ Parents as Teachers (PAT) invites local businesses, organizations, churches, and community partners to support them as they prepare for another year of serving children and families.
As students gear up for a new school year, PAT is asking community partners to help restock the supplies that Parent Educators use every day with families across the community. Whether you’re a local business, church, civic organization, or community group, your support helps Joplin PAT provide engaging learning activities, developmental resources, and hands-on experiences for young children and their caregivers. Their most-needed items include:
- Crayola crayons
- Washable markers
- Baby wipes
- Children’s scissors
- White cardstock
- Disinfecting wipes
- Disinfectant spray
Every donation, large or small, directly supports local families and helps ensure that Parent Educators have the materials they need to make every home visit meaningful. If you’re interested in donating, you can:
- Coordinate a donation drive within your business or organization.
- Contact Kerri Clouse, Joplin PAT Coordinator, to arrange a convenient pick-up.
Monetary donations are also welcome to help purchase needed supplies.
Please contact Kerri Clouse for more information.
