(Joplin, MO) – Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), the sole supplier of blood, platelets and plasma to patients at more than 40 area hospitals, is teaming up with the Springfield Cardinals for the 22nd annual Bleed Red Blood Drive on Friday, July 31.
The Bleed Red event helps strengthen the local blood supply during the critical summer months, when donations often decline while the need for blood increases.
The one-day event will be held from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Joplin Donor Center, 2318 E. 32nd Street and from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at CBCO’s Springfield Donor Center, 220 W. Plainview Road.
All successful donors will receive exclusive Bleed Red rewards, including two Springfield Cardinals tickets (valid for either the July 31 or Aug. 2 game, depending on the donation location), two Cardinals ball caps, two vintage CBCO Cardinals T-shirts and an entry to win a 2026 RED Access Promo Club membership. In addition, donors will receive a premium velour beach towel and a chance to enter for a $10,000 Dream Vacation Giveaway.
