Ozark Fairway, a new locally owned business, is preparing to bring a modern indoor golf simulator facility to Joplin, offering golfers a place to practice and play year-round. Designed as a 24/7, self-service facility, Ozark Fairway will feature private simulator bays powered by professional-grade Trackman technology, allowing golfers of all skill levels to train, play courses from around the world, and enjoy the game on their own schedule.
The concept behind Ozark Fairway focuses on accessibility, convenience, and technology. With automated booking and entry, the facility is designed to operate without on-site staff, keeping overhead low while offering flexible options for individuals, small groups, and memberships. Each bay will accommodate up to four players, making it ideal for solo practice, friends, or small group outings.
Founder Brendon George, a longtime local golfer and entrepreneur, says the idea was born from a desire to create a reliable practice space not dependent on weather or daylight. “Joplin has a strong golf community, but limited options for consistent year-round practice,” George said. “Ozark Fairway is designed to fill that gap while offering a premium but approachable experience.”
Ozark Fairway is currently working toward securing a location and funding, with plans to open following a successful Kickstarter campaign.
