The Independent Living Center to Partner with Spiva Center for the Arts to Present ‘Happy Walls,’ a Proud Display of Artwork Created by Independent Living Center Consumers

The Independent Living Center (TILC) is proud to announce Happy Walls, a community art exhibit showcasing the creativity and talent of local artists with disabilities. An opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 20 at 5:00 pm at the Spiva Center of the Arts gallery inside the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex (212 W. 7th Street).

Over the past year, TILC consumers have been developing their artistic skills and exploring new mediums during a monthly art class held at Spiva. Happy Walls celebrates their hard work, growth, and the joy that art brings to both creators and viewers.

The ceremony is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend and support the creative consumers of TILC. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with artists, view their work, and learn more about the mission of The Independent Living Center and Spiva Center for the Arts.
