Spiva Center for the Arts and Arvest Bank are excited to invite the community to help decide the winners of the Spiva + Arvest Bank Art Contest!
Two local artists will be featured on Arvest Debit Cards representing Spiva. Community members are encouraged to vote now for their top two favorite designs: one from the Adult category (18+) and one from the Youth category (17 and under). Vote online or at a participating Arvest Branch in Joplin, Webb City, or Carthage. Voting ends on Monday, November 3.
All twelve finalists are set to be featured in a 2026 art calendar available at the end of November at Spiva Center of the Arts.
Spiva’s tagline comes to life through the contest’s theme, “Celebrating the Creative Experience,” where participants designed a card that bursts with joy, imagination, and color. The twelve finalists have been selected by a panel made up of Spiva and Arvest representatives, and each submission reflects the vibrancy of the arts, the power of the creative spirit, and the spirit of community that Spiva fosters. While choosing their favorites, the community is encouraged to think bold, celebratory, and uplifting: art that sparks inspiration every time the card is used.
