The Independent Living Center is excited to announce that they are hosting a Smokin’ for Support Barbecue Bash as a fundraiser on Saturday, September 6 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm!
The event will feature live music, raffles for serious prizes (including a cruise), bounce houses and other activities for kids, adult beverages, and, of course, barbecue! Teams will be asked to submit ribs plus another barbecue item of their choice. Winners will be decided by both professional judges and by attendees in the People’s Choice category. Cash prizes of $1,000, $500, and $250 will be awarded to the winners.
To sign up as a team, there is a $100 entry fee. All proceeds go back to the Independent Living Center and will help them continue to provide their services to those who need them.
