Joplin Area Catholic Schools Seeking Donations for Annual Auction on March 1, 2025

Joplin Area Catholic Schools (JACS) — made up of St. Mary’s Elementary School, St. Peter’s Middle School, and McAuley Catholic High School — is hosting their annual action on Saturday, March 1, 2025, with the theme “Bead Up for a Cause: A Warrior Gras Celebration Auction.”

They are excited for this year’s auction, which will take place the Saturday before Fat Tuesday and will be a great party to attend before Lent begins. Theauction build their community as it opens the doors for friends to have fun and help an amazing cause — educating the future — “one Warrior at a time.”

They are asking for businesses and community members to consider donating to the auction. Your text-deductible donation ensures the success of their auction. Not only will donating an item help JACS raise the funds they need, but it also provides exposure for organizations. Donor names are highlighted on the BidPal bidding software at the event and are viewed by attendees as they browse items.

This year’s fund-a-vision is for JACS’s Sr. Mary Norbert Flesch, RSM, Endowment Fund to increase the salaries for faculty and staff in the JACS system. Funds raised through the auction help maintain the premium standard for their facilities, retain highly qualified teachers who are so important to a valuable education, and enhance the learning experience for JACS students.

The auction is a highlight for parents, supports, and the school system each spring and directly funds the JACS school budget.
