(Joplin, MO) – Downtown Joplin Alliance and Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) are partnering to turn Main Street green and gold during Third Thursday on September 19! Come enjoy an evening in downtown Joplin with more than 100 vendors, live music, and fun activities.
The evening’s events include:
- Live music all night, presented by North Heights Porchfest, from Dawn Sticklen and The Junebugs on the 200 block stage and the 600 block stage will feature Weathered and Kylie Ast.
- MSSU is taking over the 400 and 500 blocks. Enjoy live performances from the Lion Pride Marching Band; more than 60 of the MSSU departments and clubs will have fun, interactive booths for visitors to engage with.
- Foam Cannons with the Lion Cubs at 4th and Main Street.
- Green & Gold STEAMagination with the Creative Learning Alliance at the future home of the Exploreum on the 300 block! Join them on the lawn for a lion stuffie “hospital” and help them fix and keep our lions health. Special thanks to Joplin Regional Philanthropic Society for event support.
- Patio and on-street dining throughout the event.
- Vintage car cruise on the 100 block.
- Artisan market on the 200 block.
- More than 12 vendors, including over 30 food and beverage options.
