(Joplin, MO) – The Creative Learning Alliance will host a spooky science hands-on lab event at their downtown creativity lab (905 S. Main Street in Joplin) on Saturday, October 29 from noon to 1:00 pm.
Activities will include potions like ooblek and slime, making simple circuits, a monster design engineering challenge, Sparky the robot dog from Stokes Educational Services, flying bats, and so much more in addition to time in the exhibit and, of course, candy and costumes.
“We encourage children of all ages to come in costume, ready for potions and pumpkins, tricks and treats, frights and fun! We expect the kids will have a blast learning, getting a little messy, and flexing their science, technology, engineering, arts, and math muscles while they’re at it,” said Neely Myers, Project Coordinator.
Preregistration is required and the cost is only $5 per child. Space is limited and filling up quickly, so register today! Click here to learn more and to reserve a spot.
