(Joplin, MO) – Downtown Joplin Alliance (DJA) and Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) welcomes the community to Main Street for September’s Third Thursday! MSSU will fill a city block with dozens of booths and activities, including athletics, the Pollinators club, printmaking and more. You will see a glimpse of what Missouri Southern has to offer.
Other activities include:
- Live performances by The Lion Pride Marching Band at the intersection of 4th and Main Streets at 6:00 pm.
- The Criminal Justice Mobile Crime Scene.
- The Wildlife Society Reptiles.
- Yard games and giveaways.
- Over 20 food trucks.
- A vintage car cruise on the 100 block.
- An artisan market on the 500 block.
- And lots to eat and drink from our downtown restaurants and bars!
