(Joplin, MO) – Wildcat Glades Friends Group, along with other partners, will be hosting a hands-on preschool connections program, kids and adult yoga, a natural wreaths craft day, a nature explorers class, and a fireside thanksgiving dinner.
Yoga in Nature for Adults
November 13 | 8:30 am to 9:30 am | For ages 16+ | $10 to attend
Led by Amanda, a registered yoga teacher, this class is designed to incorporate elements of nature, breathing, and yoga poses. Bring your yoga mat or a towel and a reusable water bottle. This is a great opportunity to stretch out and stay loose while enjoying our wonderful park.

Primitive Skills: Char-cloth

Join Wildcat Glades and the Missouri Department of Conservation for a partnership program about primitive skills. During this class, we will be learning about fire-starting and making char-cloths, as well as practicing with a flint and steel. Please bring an Altoids tin with you, and we will provide the rest!

Thanksgiving Traditions

Join us by the campfire for some Thanksgiving traditions! We will be making some thanksgiving-style food by the campfire and in Dutch ovens. This will be a hands-on class for all the preparation and cooking, so wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
