On November 5, from 5:30–8:00 p.m. at Joplin Family Worship Center, Watered Gardens will celebrate the impact of its ministries throughout the 2025–2026 fiscal year. The evening will
feature ministry updates, remarks from Executive Director and Co-Founder James Whitford, raffle prizes, dinner, and much more.
Evening of Hope is an annual event celebrating the work God is doing through Watered Gardens. One of its goals is to help attendees better understand the importance of everyday
operations and how volunteers, donors, and community partners make that work possible. As Watered Gardens celebrates milestones such as providing for more than 30,000 needs and
helping guests meet 246 healthcare goals, the evening will feature stories of real people whose lives have been changed over the past year. The event also serves as a fundraiser, which is
especially vital as the ministry continues to grow.
“Evening of Hope is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season! Bring your family and friends to enjoy a delightful meal, festive music, powerful testimonies, and an auction of
festive gifts and decor that are sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!”
Reservations for Evening of Hope are $50 per person, with every cent going toward supporting the work of Watered Gardens Ministries as it serves the poor. We “hope” to see you on
November 5!
The event is sponsored by Mercy Hospital, Shoalnook Cabins, BBC Electric, Commerce Bank, James & Tami Richards, Kansas City University, Level Ride Manufacturing, Stronghold Data, Troy & Susan Hill, Marshall Hogue, Edward Jones Investments, Leggett & Platt, Southwest Missouri Bank, and Arvest Bank.
