The Freedom of Flight Museum, Higher Power Garage, and Our Veterans First are excited to invite the community to their Wings & Wheels Car Show and Fly-In on Saturday, October 3!
Join them from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at the Joplin Regional Airport as they celebrate the 100th birthday of Route 66 and the 250th birthday of the United States of America. This unforgettable afternoon will be packed with classic and exotic cars, airplanes, static vehicle displays, food trucks, a monster truck, and loads of family fun. Festivities include:
- Historic aircraft and aviation exhibits
- Hands-on experiences for both kids and adults
- Pilot meet-and-greets
- Bounce houses
- Face-painting
- Local food trucks
- Exhibits by local vendors

About Freedom of Flight Museum:
The Freedom of Flight Museum was formed for the purpose of serving the public interest by providing educational opportunities and programs specifically focused on the history and technology of air and space flight. The Museum provides traditional style aerospace exhibits that depict the historic accomplishments of area citizens and companies whose products and designs influenced aerospace development. Using these examples as success stories the museum inspires local students to pursue aerospace careers. The Museum also provides numerous educational programs and activities to area schools, businesses, civic groups, and the general public.
