(Joplin, MO) – Joplin Schools is excited to invite area realtors to the inaugural Discover Joplin Schools event, a special opportunity to learn more about our schools and where to direct clients who have questions. The event will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, September 21 at Joplin High School’s Performing Arts Center (2104 Indiana Avenue).
During this luncheon and tour, realtors will learn where families can find reliable information about academics, athletics, fine arts, facilities, transportation, enrollment, staff satisfaction, and much more. Details will also be shared about exciting and innovative opportunities across Joplin Schools as well as a chance to tour Joplin High School and Franklin Technology Center.

“Realtors play an important role in helping families get to know our community,” said Superintendent Dr. Kerry Sachetta. “There is a lot happening in Joplin Schools that you may not see on a school rating or simply by driving past the school. We want to be a resource for area realtors, so when their clients have questions about schools, they know exactly where to send them for accurate information and a fuller picture of what Joplin Schools as to offer.”
