The Independent Living Center in Joplin (TILC) is excited to invite the community to join them for the best local barbecue at Smokin’ for Support: A TILC BBQ Bash on Saturday, September 19 at The Independent Living Center (2639 E. 34th Street)!
For just $10, you can grab a plate of pulled pork from Creek Crew BBQ and Catering. An additional $10 sample ticket gets you samples of ribs made by area competitors vying for the prize of the best BBQ. The winner is decided by you in the People’s Choice competition, and extra votes will be available for purchase so you can vote for your favorite.
There will also be live music from the Bobby DeGonia Band, bounce houses for the kids, a dirty soda station, a designated beer garden, amazing silent auction items, and a raffle for an all-inclusive cruise!
Bring your lawn chairs and your appetite and join TILC for a great day of BBQ, music, and family fun! All proceeds benefit the people served by The Independent Living Center.
