(Joplin, MO) – In 2025, Joplin-based band The One & Only Itch (The Itch) released Men and Dust, an album and book steeped in local history that unearths the story of Joplin from the perspectives of local creatives.
The public is invited to join Post Art Library, Joplin Public Library, and The Itch in the Post Reading Room inside the Joplin Public Library on Saturday, July 11 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm for:
- The unveiling and dedication of the albums first pressing to the Library’s collection.
- An informal coffee-talk-style discussion with The Itch bandmates about what inspired their approach.
- An opportunity to peruse the book (and/or purchase your own copy).
