Nexus, an OCH Event Center’s invites the community to join them for their Pasta-Making Class on Saturday, July 25!
This hands-on culinary experience is designed to bring people together around the creativity, comfort, and joy of fresh homemade pasta. In this immersive workshop, participants will learn classic Italian techniques as they mix and knead their own pasta dough, prepare a flavorful ravioli filling, and make a bright, herb‑packed pesto to take home.
To help the class flow smoothly, we’ll also provide a selection of premade pasta sheets so guests can jump right into shaping and filling their ravioli. Participants will use simple tools to roll, shape, and work with their dough just like traditional pasta artisans.
Throughout the experience, attendees explore the art and science of achieving perfect pasta texture. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and beginner‑friendly, while still offering a fun creative challenge for anyone who already loves spending time in the kitchen.
To make the evening even more enjoyable, a cash bar will be available throughout the class, provided by Eagles Landing Wine. Guests can sip their favorite wine as they mix, roll, and craft their pasta adding the perfect touch to a memorable night out.
At the end of the class, each participant heads home with their freshly made pasta and a container of their own homemade pesto, ready to be cooked into a delicious meal. Whether paired with butter, combined with family recipes, or topped with the pesto they created, their dish becomes the final, delicious step in the experience.
