George Washington Carver National Monument to Host Annual Carver Day Celebration on July 11

George Washington Carver National Monument invites the community to save the date for Saturday, July 11 as they celebrate the Annual Carver Day Celebration!

This year, they’re celebrating the 83rd anniversary of George Washington Carver National Monument, as well as the life and legacy of George Washington Carver. Guest speakers and musical groups will help honor George Washington Carver while attendees can expect a day dedicated to history, learning, and family-friendly fun, including:

  • Exhibitors
  • Musical performances
  • Lectures and presentations by guest speakers
  • Guided tours of the park
  • Education activities for kids
  • A chance to earn a Carver Day Junior Ranger badge

This event is free of charge and open to the public. A concession stand will be available, made possible by the Diamond Lions Club.
