(Joplin, Mo) – Joplin Empire Market is celebrating their 8th Birthday Bash this April, in combination with a springtime Goats in the Garden event.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2025, during normal market hours from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Attendees can sign a market birthday card, feast on cake created by Handmade for You, and play with little goats in our Community Gardens. A few of the market’s dedicated farmers will be bringing their goats along for the party, along with other community partners. Tortellini the Tortoise will also be in attendance, ready for the festivities!
Visitors to the Birthday Bash will also get first dibs on some of the selection of new limited edition merchandise that is dropping over the next few months.
Visitors can shop all three market halls, with fresh produce, pastured meat, artisan goods, coffee from Cottage Small Coffee Roasters, live music in the cafe area from local favorites, Dr. G in the morning and The Forget Me Nots in the afternoon, and ready-to-eat food all available. A photo booth will be set up for customers to visit.
