Not far from now, in a galaxy not far away… The Joplin Parks and Recreation Department will celebrate Earth Day & Arbor Day with an out-of-this-world event, and you’re invited!
The community is invited to mark their calendars for Saturday, April 11 and join the Joplin Parks and Recreation Department and Wildcat Glades Nature Group for “May The Forest Be With You.” This event will be held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Wildcat Park (55th and South Main Streets).
Attendees can enter the Star Wars-themed costume contest, explore different nature stations, and join an outdoor scavenger hunt – plus there will be family activities, demonstrations, giveaways, music, and food trucks!
